....or not as the case may be!!
Spanish air traffic controllers have announced four days of walkouts as a protest of the treatment of colleagues in Barcelona.
The two-hour stoppages are planned for June 8, 10, 12 and 14.
They are scheduled to take place in the morning and afternoon on the four strike days.
Don booked flights months ago to go to Brum for a couple of days to be with his mum for her 91st birthday.
He's due to fly at 11am tomorrow morning - slap bang in the middle of the proposed 2 hour strike.
He's due to fly home on Wednesday - slap bang in the middle of the proposed 2 hour strike.
As long as he's there for her birthday on the 9th that's ok - although he wants to be home by the 11th for his birthday I've said it's not a problem if he's not.
I'm going out for our end of year staff meal on the 11th so poor Don's birthday night out will be a day later this year anyway.
We break up on Thursday 18th and would normally go out for the staff meal that night but one of the teachers is flying to Majorca that night to visit family so the 11th was mooted and agreed.
