Do you know I didn't know about drinking water before having bloods....only until last time when I had to have a fasting test, so nothing by mouth from 12 midnight until my tests at 8.40 next day....but my bruise is still as big as ever and a lovely shade of purple with a bit of yellow to boot :| I have to have more next week so hopefully bruises will become more fashionable..... Kaz I hope your tests comeback ok, and your ECG - it was a week before I got my results back from that and only then because I had an appt to see the GP :| ((((((((((()))))))))

I very nearly forgot I had arranged to meet Kay, my friend, in town for coffee today!! We had a good old catch up - we only seem to arrange this about once a year (!) but she said a really nice thing today - that I am one of only a few people that she wants to keep in touch with. So I was really touched....and then she commented that I didn't look anywhere near 54, nearly 55....I told her she needed to go to a good opticians  (she is a DO - Dispensing Optician - at one in Gateshead) We were sat in the cafe for almost THREE HOURS!!! Good job I am a regular ;) Afterwards I went to get my weekly shop and then home. Popped up to see Donna tonight, I'm babysitting Lily tomorrow night at their house while they take Lewis up to watch their dog race in an important race...I have no interest at all in the racing side of it all...but they haven't been since before Lily was born and Lewis enjoys it :D

Lovely to have a friend like that Gal, when 3 hours can go in the blink of an eye - and it doesn't matter how long it is in between either, you just start up from where you left off :)

I know....I thought the same as I was driving away :) We rarely even text between meets, she sees my FB updates but I don't think she posts much herself.

That is so nice Gal, she sounds like a lovely person :) My bruise is still small, but I have a lump like half a ping pong ball under the skin so I expect that will come out later  Thanks for the good wishes ((((((x))))))
