We bought this.

We decided this holiday that we would buy a picture that reminded us of Cornwall. This wasn't quite what we had in mind but we love it -

Not from this shop - it's just the first link that came up on google.

Not everyone's cup of tea I know but we like that it's quite controversial. And definitely a talking point. What we think art should be. It is actually pixelated on the finger - that hasn't been done just for the website. She's going above the fireplace in the dining room.

We also liked this

But settled on Audrey. I might save up for the lighthouse one for Mick for xmas (I know he preferred that one really)

We still need a Cornish scene but we've decided something nice and bright but smaller (Audrey is big - 3ft x 3ft) to go in the bathroom. We are thinking about Cornwall in Feb/March - just the two of us so will perhaps look then (unless everywhere is closed!)

I love it Debih, and can just see it above your fireplace :)

Not my sort of thing, I'm not keen on people in paintings, but with art you definitely have to follow your heart :)

It's different - same as Di, not quite my taste and I wouldn't buy it for myself, but I do like it; got a very unusual effect. It certainly will be a conversation piece as you say

And I agree, I think Audrey is much nicer than the lighthouse
