I know you "joined" FB - do you ever use it? Have you ever used it since?

Yes, Ton, I joined and was overwhelmed by all the people who wanted me to befriend them.... including loads from VV and other sites I had once been a member of. I didn't know what to do.

My daughter, also a member, promised to help me out, but as she finished her degree and is looking for a real and permanent job the help has been kicked into the long grass.

I am now in the position of not knowing what the hell to do. I get updates from so many people..... but what do I do with them?

Believe it or not, but I am scared of messing it up.  :P

But it is simple Frank - honest!!! Let's face it, most of us here are on it and we're all pretty simple :P :D ;)

If you are stuck, just ask one of us!

Grumpy is the same as you   so he uses mine instead

Just log in, I normally keep logged in and then just look at your home page.

Then ask - as there will be a lot of stuff on there you won't want to know about or don't want too either.

And never ever "like" a page, unless you're sure you really want them giving you a load of stuff, but you can always "un follow" them.

Easy, in'it??????

Kaz, Ton, Ally, you are talking to a tech geek, but also a social mediaphobe.

Tomorrow I promise to login and see how things go, but do not expect too much. I really am a klutz when it comes to these things, they are not at all natural to me.

If you can ease me in by keeping things simple it would be much appreciated.

Note: the 'keep it simple' request, please.
