Vernal Equinox

Postby Workingman » 20 Mar 2015, 13:25

Today is the day we get equal hours of day and night. Well, actually, it isn't; daylight lasts for 12 hours and 9 minutes, but that is because we measure daylight from the time the rim of the sun appears and disappears over the horizon.

Anyway, it is now officially SPRING so we can turn the heating off and put on lighter duvets and do a clean..... and all that stuff. :o

Have a nice day. ;)

Yep, I always count Spring as being from my birthday onwards - me being a little ray of sunshine, and all that :P ;)

It has been gorgeous out there today, ironically the gloomy cloud vanished shortly after the eclipse  ;)

Ah now, let's not get carried away  Generally speaking I always hope to have the heat off from the end of March and also to stop wearing boots then.
