:| Not somewhere I've ever wanted to go either, Jo :? I don't think I'd cope well with all the poverty there  :?

Jen I agree, it's so hard to get the proper feel of a place until you see it - I can't tell you how many 'lovely' places disappointed us in the 'flesh', whereas some that looked ordinary on RM were really lovely! :? I think Di is right, all of this will give you a really good chance to size up the area 8-) xxx

Had two lovely walks, one into town, then another home later via D's :) Four miles under my belt again ;) 8-) The bedding got lovely and dry on the line - I love that fresh smell of line-dried bedding, you don't get that from the tumble dryer :)

Afternoon all, it was a gorgeous day here too although cold. We went into town quite early as we wanted to look at wooden shutters - we've been trying to decide what to put on the two big windows on our shop front, and after many months' deliberation, this is looking like the best way to go. We then had lunch in a place new to us, with some interesting choices on the menu and quite the most delicious pulled pork I've had here other than our own. Then we had a potter around Debenhams and TK Maxx and picked up a few bits before coming home. Still enjoying using Mr Osc's free travel

Going to babysit for Miss Osc this evening so she can go to yoga, as SIL is away for the night. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone!
