Morning all..........just

Bright sunshine here, so nice after all the rain yesterday afternoon.

Had a phone call from the agent yesterday afternoon, surprisingly for both him and us although as expected they didn't accept our offer, apparently we're not too far off. The vendors want to do their sums over the weekend and he feels they'll come back with a counter offer in the next couple of days. I've made it very clear we have a top figure we're not going to budge on so it's really all up to the vendors now.

Having a lazy day, just prepared a nice casserole to have for dinner later and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all.

We haven't ventured out yet. I've been busy messing about with my stamp collection,
which I haven't looked at for years. Now that we haven't a dog to look after, we need
something to keep us occupied, and we do love messing about with foreign postage stamps.
Mrs A is an avid collector, too, and she has already made plans to go to a stamp fair next
week-end. Now that I've sold the car we will have more cash to spend on our hobby.

Hope you are all well and enjoying life.
Aggers

Had a smashing weekend after a weird end of week.....worked yesterday am and then T and I met a couple of friends in town around half two and we had drinks and food - it's something we'll deffo be doing again, really good :D Got home about 7 and promptly fell asleep in front of Ant and Dec.....it's our age coupled with a bit of booze!!

Today started sunny and windy....got a bit of h/w done and then watched Damien Omen 2 (I love those films!) while I was ironing....then we got coats on and off for a long walk....think we did about 4-5 miles up and down hills....I did feel my knee 'go' a bit trying to keep upright on a particularly muddy downhill....we ended up at a garden centre so of course we stopped for a pee break and a coffee :D Course the walk wasn't circular so our car was at the start....I thought I could manage the return journey ok but T was concerned my knee and or back wouldn't be up to it, so we got a lift back home and then went back for the car 8-) Just had a soak in the bath whilst reading my book and am now about to order Chinese :D

Jen's been doing long shifts at work all weekend but has arranged to meet a friend for a meal after work this evening, she'll be back about 8 I think.

That's my weekend in a nutshell :)

Evening :)
Sorry been awol, although I've read a lot of posts on the kindle I haven't been on the pc all day.

Gal downhill is so much harder than up isn't it, especially when it's muddy!
Jen good luck with the offer x
Saundra hope Lily's mum has a wonderful time :)

We didn't get to Prezzo yesterday; just as friend arrived here it started absolutely hammering down, I was tired anyway so suggested we cancel and I'd cook pasta. They weren't bothered as they were fully booked, and Bb had come home with bargain Spanish-spiced sausages so a pasta sauce was easy, and we had a baguette in the freezer so had garlic bread too :)
Only trouble was it was a bit much altogether, and today my back's been bad and I've been good for nothing.
Friend brought me flowers though :)
