Afternoon all. Gorgeous here now although we still have some snow hanging around from yesterday.

Work this morning and now I'm home having my lunch before I start my chores. Busy afternoon - two cakes to back (gin and tonic drizzle cake and Hairy Dieters carrot and sultana cake - neither baked before) as I am hosting our book group (aka wine club) tomorrow night and won't have time to bake tomorrow, need to make a chicken tikka masala (Hairy Dieters) for dinner, do the recycling, take the bins out and remake the beds after stripping them before work this morning.

No run today as I went yesterday.

Weightwatchers tonight - assuming I will have stayed the same or put on again! I've stuck to the plan completely (even counting my alcohol from Friday nigh) but I think now I'm running I'm going to get heavier before I get lighter!

The weather can't make it's mind up here. It was sunny all morning (albeit very cold and windy) and then went grey and dark and we had a heavy hail shower, just as the door lock light switched off on the washing machine. Then it was just grey and dark. Sun came out again so I hung the washing out and now I've come into the living room with a coffee only to see a HUGE grey cloud coming over from Birmingham (but there're clear blue skies behind it)

Good evening all.

Just to let you know I am feeling a little better today,
and have just had a proper meal- the first for three days.

Mrs A is still suffering but we are hopeful that she will
get over it in a couple of days.

This nurovirus is certainly a horrible thing.
