Lost in translation!

Postby Osc » 06 Feb 2015, 20:05

Mr Osc has Siri on his iphone, and is trying to use Siri to give him reminders of various things - you talk to Siri and he says he will remind you, which comes up on the screen.

Yesterday, he wanted to remind me to buy some lamb shanks today as we will be out all day tomorrow and we want them for Sunday dinner. So he spoke to Siri, who says creepy things like "it is my pleasure to help you" and asked that he be reminded this morning. When the message came up, it said "buy lampshades"   Not sure how they will get on the the slow cooker

Think I'll stick to my pen and paper ;)

He didn't speak to Siri, Siri is not real. He spoke to his phone.

And lamb shanks to lampshades is easy to misunderstand, he could have been reminded to buy limp sharks. Now there's a Sunday dinner to remember. :o

Di, he said lamb shanks, but Siri could have got him lipstick. I wonder what colour suits Mr Osc? Mauve?
