Good afternoon all.

I've been "busy doing nothing" all morning, including my usual morning dog-less walk,
reading the Daily Wail, and doing a few crosswords to keep my brain active.

It's not a very pleasant day here, weather-wise, so we're not planning on going out this afternoon.

Have a nice day.

It's raining here too, just drizzle as I walked into town, but proper rain by the time I came back - so I decided to get the bus, but first I went into Iceland and stocked up on the 75p Weightwatchers meals offer they have on! The freezer is half empty now after Christmas, and it was a good opportunity to fill it up a bit again ;)

That will give your son and his fiancée such a good chance to save Loz :) 8-)

Di, that looked quite something on the telly 8-) :) It was so lucky nobody was hurt! 8-)

Evening all, our day just sort of evolved! Mr Osc had an opthalmologist appointment for 10.50am, his conjunctivitis has not budged after two weeks of drops, so our optician referred him. Apparently he also has blepharitis, which is inflammation of the eyelids, so he has stronger antibiotic drops, steroid drops and instructions on cleansing the eyelids. We went by bus and got a bus straight away each way, so when we got back here we decided to go to our favourite shopping centre, where he got new shoes and a nice warm jacket, also we got a few kitchen bits in TKMaxx. When we came out it was raining and blowing a gale and is still the same.

Someone we know is having a charity dance in Waterford on 1st February, which we thought might be a fun thing to go to. So we are going on the train using Mr Osc's free travel, I got a terrific deal for a night in a hotel and a friend has offered to collect us from the hotel and bring us to the dance, so that is something nice to look forward to. We were supposed to go dancing tonight but I got a migraine and although my tablet worked, I'm really tired so we've decided to stay at home. Busy few days ahead anyway, so it will do no harm to relax and get to bed early.

That sounds nice to look forward to Osc :)
I have blepharitis, it's a damned nuisance, but presumably Mr Osc won't have to worry about wearing mascara ;)
