The BBC recording of Sophie Ellis-Bextor's and Brendan Cole's Charleston ..... I thought, for just week 2, this was a remarkable performance!

There was some superb dancing last night and some clodhoppers too.
That Charleston was really something else wasn't it.

Everyone is so pleased for Anton that, at last, he has got a partner who can dance. Unfortunately she is suffering badly from nerves. The final is going to be very hotly contested I think and the standard of dancing at the end will be unbelievable.

Loved, loved, loved Brendan and Sophie's dance, by far the best of the night 8-)
Natalie and Artem were also lovely.
Ashley and Ola were in third for me.
Still like Abbey and Alijaz but think she's more likely to shine in the ballroom dances.

Really like Mark and Iveta, not really his dancing, but he's very entertaining and makes me chuckle.
Shame about Rachel, she was lovely last week and really awful last night. Another ballroom girl for sure.
Still don't like Suzanna, can't warm to her somehow although to be fair she was much better than last week.
The rest are also rans really, very middle of the road, nothing special about any of them.

Then there's Tony Jacklin, oh boy is he dreadful

Tess didn't look too bad last night for a change and Claudia actually looked almost normal

I like Mark, he makes me chuckle in the right way, not the peering through my fingers way of Dave.

I really don't like Patrick, (well I like Patrick, just not his dancing) he is so flat footed, not sure he will improve much either.

Ben is a bit full of himself, in a 'aren't I handsome' way.

Julian was much better this week, but sadly his dancing wasn't and yes that Tango looked like Paso to be too

Sophie is my favourite, think Brendan has a real contender there. Natalie is really good, but in a Kara Tointon way, brilliant from the word go and a bit boring.

Like Ashely and Ola too

Haven't caught up on our recording yet, but just watched that Charleston - I tend to forget what a lovely dancer Brendan is. He is coming to Dublin with his show in March, and Miss Osc and I will be there, she loves him and I've bought her the ticket for her Cword pressie - wait till she sees that we are only five rows from the front :D
