Loved the books, but not this adaptation - I gave up, it isn't very good

Tell you what I am loving though - The Real White Queen and her Rivals, presented by Philippa Gregory on BBC2 .......either on Tuesday or Wednesday nights at 9pm, can't remember which now, but it is fab 8-)

Oh and sorry, to answer your question Warwick fell out with King Edward over his choice of bride and other matters and turning traitor went over to the other side, eventually dying in Battle.......

I'm still watching. It's okay but I much preffered the books. Haven't watched last nights yet - it is recorded for me to watch later as it clashes with Law and Order UK and I quite like that.

I enjoyed the Real White Queen (or whatever it was called) that was on last week and is on again this week I think.

I do not get some of the criticisms I have seen in the press. It is a TV adaptation of a novel which in itself was only loosely based on historical events.

I am watching it as a costume drama, nothing more, and from that POV it's not that bad.

I'm enjoying it for what it is.

It's too 'modern' Frank, I'd be quite happy to watch and enjoy it for the historical fantasy that the books are, but the characters look and sound wrong.......Far too 21st Century  It reminds me a little of The Tudors in that way......

The actress playing Margaret Beaufort is a bit strange - she gurns and makes faces, and never meets anyone's eye......what is that all about?? :?

History Lite :?
