When it came out a big marquee was placed on Woodhouse Moor and it was shown on the BIG wrap around screen with Surround Sound - very loud!. Uncle Ted took twelve of us cousins to see it - taxis, buckets of popcorn and all. We immediately bought the soundtrack to play on dad's radiogram and played it till it wore out.

I fell in love with Louisa and after watching again this evening I still am.

I do not usually like musicals, but this one grabs me.
