25th December, my place.

All-day Netflix - no sermons, no speeches and definitely no news.

Full English for breakfast.

Main meal. Roast chicken (don't like turkey) with Yorkshires, sage and onion stuffing, roast spuds, sprouts and other veg and loads of gravy all followed by apple pie and custard for afters.

Home made thick chicken soup and a chunk of freshly made bread with loads of butter for tea, with maybe a few mince pies to finish off.

G&T and nibbles for "supper". :D

Paracetamol and water by the bed.

Sorted - no cheffy stuff needed. ;)

I'll look forward to that Jo :Hi: :Hi:

I've ordered a rib of beef, Jan is cooking the turkey and we're sharing everything else. >She's making the roasties and gravy, because she's far better than me

And a lot of wine

Sounds good to me Frank :D  To be honest any Christmas dinner I didn't have to cook would be a great treat - I can count those rare occasions on the fingers of one hand

We went to Jan and Joquinha's last year Kaz, the first time in about 40 years I didn't cook. Bliss. No washing up either  Boys and dishwasher ;)

Sounds like heaven! I've cooked for all but three or four years since I married in 1977, so over 40 years as well :cute:

I think Frank's got it well sorted, TBH! I probably wouldn't get much further than the Full English though, haven't got the "capacity" these days .... :)

I’d be happy with Frank’s soup and bread and butter option for my Christmas dinner :Hi:

There will be just two of us.

Will be having pork roast potatoes. No sprouts. Probably carrots and roast parsnips. Then Christmas pudding with Brandy cream.
Plent of white wine. Will pobably leave the washing up till Boxing day.
Used to have our parents for Christmas diner.

Will put the decorations up at beginning of December
