Can anyone remember this show from the 70's?

I absolutely loved it and adored the sassy, beautiful Valerie Harper.

I've just read she has terminal brain cancer.

Thoughts for this lovely actress and her family. x

I read about Valerie Harper earlier, it's very sad news.
I remember Rhoda - I think I was a bit too young to 'get it' but my sister loved it.
I do remember her sister, was it Brenda? She was played by Julie Kavner who is now the voice of Marge Simpson

I loved Rhoda!!! One of the first US sitcoms I enjoyed I think - sad to hear the news, she looks amazing for 71!

Oh what a shame!!! I remember Rhoda very well, and even remember the character from the Mary Tyler Moore Show, before she got her own show

I loved Rhoda..I was in my mid teens but was so aware of American 'life' and American comedy.

I loved the Mary Tyler Moore Show..at the time a quite sassy show for women and a time when women were trying (and succeeding) to be as good as men.
