I watched it and yes it's good if as ever you are prepared to suspend belief. Surely before appointing an A&E consultant a lot more checks would be made apart from 'oh brilliant, we are a rubbish hospital, welcome on board' Wouldn't they get references as the bare minimum?

I have a horrible feeling it's going to leave me thinking what a load of tosh, like every new drama does

I don't care that in real life of course there would have been checks. But it's not real life.

At the end of the day it's on telly, it's not real,so if one thinks it'll be tosh then that's one's decision to watch tosh.
