Really lovely family but absolutely no common sense when it came to money!
Spending so much on baby clothes when they get messed up or grown out of in no time at all.

And the young lad and his designer fragrances and an iPhone. He was 10 wasn't he? :?

Oh how I laughed when he thought the 'swapped' fragrance smelled of poo and definitely wasn't the one he usually used.

And it was! (just for the record that Paul Smith stuff is nice)

I've got 3 lads and not one of them gives a fig for designer anything....the boy was just copying from his parents.

Speaks volumes.

That made me laugh too Ally

I usually, although it's just a recent usual, buy the lads a bottle of aftershave that they like at Christmas and birthdays. Joe's graduated from £9 David Beckham stuff to Paul Smith (think I paid around £15 from Amazon for 75ml for his 18th birthday, it's not the one that was on this show though but it's lovely) and Tom likes one from the Body Shop which they usually have on offer at various times.
Apart from that though clothes are from H&M, Primark and the like.

I do think though that what we saw in the show will be an increasing problem and it's something we see a lot of on our close. Two families in particular. Brand new cars on the drives on 17th birthdays, twin sons of one of the families turned 18 recently and they had personalised number plates which cost over £2000 each (yep, you read that right), designer this that and everything, new games consoles on the day of release, the latest phone.

It's not doing them any favours for when they have to stand on their own two feet.
