Ripper Street

Is anyone else watching this one on Sunday nights?

It's quite gripping, the locations and dialogue look and sound very authentic, and Matthew MacFadyen is a superb actor ...

I hated the first episode and vowed not to watch any more but hubby wanted to stick with it. After last night's episode I'm glad we did. It was great - rather graphic at times but great.

We watched the first two episodes but weren't very impressed - there just didn't seem to be much of a story.

Maybe I will try again now.
