I had liked Kimberley, but in the last couple of weeks she's started to sound a little bit smug. Her wedding cake was decidedly weird - the outside didn't match the inside at all.
Ruby's was pathetic - past years' contestants were better.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the formula tbh, maybe the selection process needs looking at?

I also think that the format is OK, but I do worry about the flavour combinations some of the contestants come up with. They come across as a bit GCSE 'Design a sandwich' - the more outlandish the better.

Kimberly had been going backwards for a while, where Frances has been sneaking up. Ruby was very lucky to beat Beca in the semi - there was nothing between them.

I was out and had to catch up on this... a rather unexpected but really worthy winner; I had a huge smile on my face when they announced Francis's name... I love her artistic style and think that she has an absolute talent in that department. Flavour can be worked on, but style is one of those things you either have or don't.
