Gal thank you so much for that, it mostly now makes sense EXCEPT I must have blinked at the bit where he read about his own death, as I didn't realise he had died, which really truly added to my confusion at the end.

I think I would have been better a) doing what you did and watching them one night apart and b) paying attention

That's ok, MM - it WAS a very fleeting scene where he read the paper and literally blink-and-you-miss-it to realise the photo of the dead man was him!
