I find these two greasy blokes strangely watchable. I think that it is because their food is bog-standard fayre without any pretensions to being flash. So, when this gourmet series came along I was a bit iffy about it. However.....

Some of the dishes have been amazing.... and with a bit of tweaking could be made into everyday meals.

They do do some nice things; they can be irritating but their friendship's genuine, as is their interest in other people.
However, until their dieters series, I'd often said they seemed to gratuitously add calories, so I'm glad they've apparently woken up to it. I haven't watched this series so can't be sure
