Vocal Voices

Two ladies bumped into each other in the street. "I was very sorry to hear about your Fred dying" says the first lady "It must havr been such a shock".
"It was" her friend replied. "I was getting the Sunday dinner ready and told him to go and get a cabbage from the garden. Well, he was gone for half an hour and when I went to look for him, there he was, lying face down in the vegetable patch - dead".
"How awful! What did you do?".
"Well, I opened a tin of peas...."
