I do not want to read any other books involving breast cancer. In the last couple of months I have read Mrs Kimble, wife has breast cancer, wife dies. Eloise already dead from breast cancer and now The Saving Graces, that had hope. she was in remission and they cooked her a lovely cake for her 2nd anniversary, but that night her friend drives her home and then comes back in tears to say, yep, the cancer's back. I skipped to the end in the hope that maybe she would make it but no, she's dead.

I am sick and tired of books about breast cancer.......but mainly books about breast cancer without happy endings

It's a curse Mm. When my mum first had it she said she'd stopped watching most programmes on TV because there seemed to be so many references or they were just generally downbeat.
Then when I first had it, oh it was everywhere. Kylie had just done that interview, with Cat Deeley. I wanted to see it, but not right then, I recorded it and watched it late one night when I was ready for it.

It's ok to see it talked about/referred to I think, but in your own time and on your own terms - caught unawares is a definite no-no

Far more women die of heart disease than BC, but you don't tend to see programmes or books where women die of that do you? :?
