While I Was Sleeping by Dani Atkins. It's really good, about a woman who has been in a coma for years, and how her life has changed when she wakes up.

Reading Letter to Louise.

It's the actress Pauline Collins account of giving up her daughter for adoption.

Bournville by Jonathon Coe, I’m really enjoying it.

I really do need to read more.

For some reason, I could never quite get on with Jonathon Coe, Jo. :|

I've started "We Solve Murders", the first book in a new series by Richard Osman of the Thursday Murder Club fame.
It's very good! :D

I've also recently finished:
"Invasion", a thriller by Frank Gardner (yes, the BBC Security Correspondant) which was OK if you like that sort of thing, I guess.
"The Dark Wives" by Ann Cleeves which is her latest "Vera" novel - a good, absorbing read.
"Safe Enough", a collection of early short stories by Lee Child, the "Jack Reacher" author, which was an interesting look at his formative years without being particularly scintillating.

and "The Last Temptation" by Val McDermid, a republishing of a 2002 novel which frankly I gave up on a third of the way through. Far too gory, and characters I couldn't really identify with.

It's interesting that a lot of well-known authors seem to be churning out various re-prints of their early works which (to my mind) aren't particularly all that good a read .....

Just finished Linwood Barclay’s I Will Ruin You. Bit sweary but very fast paced and a good story.

Just finished The Telegram, by Debbie Rix. It was excellent 8-) Just started The One Plus One - it's by Jo Jo Moyes, who wrote the massively successful Me Before You, so I'm hopeful of a good read 8-)
