I have just finished a really good book called, The Train in the Night. It is written by a music critic who lost his hearing suddenly like me. I wanted to read it first of all because it was someone who had an understanding of my type of hearing loss. In the end it turned out to be a really good read about growing up in the 70's and 80's. Some really laugh out loud moments and some very sad parts too.
