Yes, they are, Kaz, we enjoyed them, as well as the brilliant TV series - but they are quite long.
There is a new one currently out, "The Running Grave", first published this September, which we'll probably order off Amazon after Christmas.

I'd just avoid "The Ink Black Heart" (Book 6 in the series). It's the way it's written, with some chapters being pages of columns you have to read down rather than across which make it difficult to digest.
And I'd be very suprised if they ever manage to make a TV drama out of it either.
Be interested to know if anyone else on here has read it, though, and what their take on it was.
