I used to be able to type just the first letter and the full email address would come up. It suddenly stopped doing that and I have tried absolutely everything. When I go into the help section I can't even seem to make them understand what I am saying - it keeps telling me about other forwarding accounts for me.
It is such a simple thing, but such a nuisance now when you have to look up email addresses and type them in every time you send an email or forward something.

Have just discovered, after much searching, that it is a glitch and they are working on it.
If you click on To first then you get the whole list comes up and you can click on what you want, so that is alright for now.

Hi Rodo,
Usually this is ether cached addresses or a "view" or folder which caches known addresses. I had a look in my Yahoo and found that in the smart views there is a folder called People. That appears to be the one it's pulling addresses from. Interestingly I noticed that it's not just the first character of the name. If I put in g I get names with g in it or names which are @gmail.com
Worth looking to see if the people folder is there.

I am finding that my hotmail email site is working much more efficiently than the Yahoo one ever did.

I don't use the Yahoo website if I can avoid it. I pull my mail into Outlook. However as it's my long standing domain (10 years+) I keep it. I also have an Office365 account which I pull my yahoo mail into. I use that site to read the mail on if I'm using a website. But Office365 has it's issues too.

I use gmx Emails for most of my contacts now, and find that gmx is far better than BT or Yahoo.

My yahoo page has changed itself this past couple of weeks and I really don't like the new face
No idea what to do about it, there doesn't seem to be an option to go back to how it used to be
I have a hotmail addie as well, and one that comes with my BB supplier, but I rarely use them
