for WM and Suff

here we watch itv player through a VPN ,this has started to appear on screen

Adobe flash player settings
local storage
www,itv.com is requesting permission to store information on your computer

requested upto 1MB
currently used 100KB

allow-----deny
any thoughts on this? why do does itv request this/

if i click Deny it just re-appears

should i click allow

I get it on the pc for a couple of things Vic, I just allow it :)

Flash player is trying to store cookies on your system to remember configuration and other details.

Due to the new EU regulations, all programs which try to leave cookies on your system must ask permission first.

That is why this is now coming up. If you say yes it should remember it and then not ask again.

It is not keeping anything it did not keep before. It just has to ask now whereas it did not have to ask before.

It is safe enough Vic, from sites that you know.

With ITV it is probably a cache of your viewing history and the settings on your computer of viewing options - HD, windows size etc.

However, along with any Accept/Deny option there should also be a 'Never ask again' button.

I stream things for some sports and letting Adobe flash player have a bigger cache tends to even out the stream so that I get fewer break ups.
