Update on the Bedroom

Postby Suff » 20 Jan 2013, 13:49

A while ago I shared some Photo's of the bedroom as it was in chaos and being re done.

Now we're almost finished and I have some more photo's. Just a few finishing touches to do, the main work is done.

Thanks all, it's been a journey. But it was worth it.

Half way through the workshops and Mrs S wants the shelving units in the utility rejigged and sliding doors fitted (half done). Then I'll go back to the workshops and then to the Kitchen.

The Kitchen is in a bit of an uproar. I fitted a new dishwasher (and unit) before Christmas and I built a new high level unit for the Double Oven Mrs S had bought. They gave her the wrong one and had to send us the right one (yes to France). Big Plug for DownTown in Grantham for that. It arrived on Christmas Eve and I fitted it along with a temporary work surface for the induction hob we bought in the sales over here.

The bamboo worktops are currently sitting in the back bedroom awaiting oiling and then I'll fit them. I have a lot of work to do in there as I still have to rip off old tiles, move wall units, lower the ceiling, finish walls, hide the CH pipes I fitted to the back bedroom radiator and finally I need to lay a new floor (not yet chosen), replace the central island (fitted with power this time) and fit the 4 way popup power unit in the island.

Another few weeks of leisure in the Suff's household.....

Actually not, she did about half the work..... It wouldn't look half as good if she didn't do the work she does...
