Eeek here it is!

The house is up on the estate agent's site - we thought the price might be a bit higher, but he did explain that you start low to stimulate interest, hope to get several people keen on it and bidding, and hopefully get more in the end. This is the process they use, and they would be very successful selling in this area - it's all a bit nerve wracking Image

Oh Osc! It's really lovely!!! :D It looks like every room gets so much natural light and there's so much character to it :)

So how does this bidding process work then? It's not like here where you submit an offer for the vendor to consider? Is there a closing date as such by when all bids must be submitted?
It's really beautiful and I'm sure someone is going to fall in love with it!

Fingers crossed for a frenzied bidding war!!!

Well it's not really a bidding process, but if someone is interested and offers the asking price, then the agent's philosophy/hope would be that someone else wants it more and then offers more.......I think :? Apparently it works because I know these agents have offered houses at a price and sold in the end for maybe 50,000 more - other agents offer houses at a high price then some people are afraid to show interest because they can't afford it.
