Smelly wardrobe

Our new wardrobe and chest of drawers pong a bit of the wood and oil used. I've put some sandlewood smellies in and left all the doors and drawers open, but still a smell. Don't want to put any clothes in until the smell has gone.

Any ideas to get rid of it? Or is it just a matter of waiting

I think they'll soon air out, so maybe just wait a few days?

I love the smell of wood :)
Think you're doing all you can, last thing you want is to replace it with an artificial pong.

The sandlewood things are wooden plugs and we just sand them every few months, leaves a lovely smell :D It's been almost a week, and I'd love to fill them up with clothes

A couple of months Kaz. I left the doors open and still leave them ajar.

At least I can use them now ;)
