I love the size of it but style wise it looks very like the B&Q one that we fitted when we moved into our last house in 1994

I really like that style though, the bright white shiny sleek ones aren't my thing

I'm not keen on those either, they look far too cold and clinical. Our neighbours, the ones who had the kitchen fire, have a glossy white kitchen and it's far too cold for my liking. They've used a lot of tiling too, the longest wall is completely tiled from floor to ceiling with those small white rectangular tiles and I thought it looked like an underground station while John said it reminds him of a public toilet There's nothing in there to 'warm' it up as the walls that aren't tiled are painted ice blue.

They remind me of school or hospital kitchens - as you say, no warmth! My favourite ever kitchen was the Magnet "Shaker" one I had in the bungalow with my ex. Birch units with occasional powder blue contrast cupboard front and back lit display cupboard, and built in wicker storage baskets. Beech worktop, which admittedly was a pain to keep looking good as it needed regular oiling, but it did look lovely!
