Shower curtain

We have a lovely step over and walk in shower and the shower curtain is already getting a little mouldy on the bottom.

Personally, I think it's too low into the shower, as the shower takes a loooong time to drain away - yes, we have checked it out, it's just one of those thing (this being Portugal   )

As soon as the weather gets better, maybe the week-end, then I'll clean it.

What's the best thing to clean it with? I'll have to do it in the garden, as, having a fossa, I can't chuck bleach and lots of cleaning stuff down the drain.

I'll ask Grumpy to move the shower rail up a smidgeon, which will help.

A paste of vinegar and bicarb should do it xxx

Brill, thanks Kaz. I have a tub of bicarb leftover from England - so 10 years should be okay

I know that in France they sell bleach that is fossa friendly. Says so on the label. Maybe they sell it in your neck of the woods Ton. I am pretty sure it is Domestos.

I've been looking all over Molly, for cleaning products etc and the only shop that does it is either in the Algarve or up in Lisbon

Speaking to people here, as we all have fossas, they just use normal stuff sparingly.

I toss mine in the washing machine with the towels once a month. The abrasive action of the towels bring them up sparkling.
