Men don't see it Jo - the lack of tall storage cupboards here, and the lack of an airing cupboard are bugbears for me  Loads of wall units, and an extra sink in the utility, but no full length cupboards for the ironing board, hoover, brooms etc :cute:

We're no longer thinking of moving.

We're definitely moving.

We were going to put the house on the market April time thinking no rush, no bother.

Last year one of our closest friends said his brother and wife were looking for a house and had always liked ours and if we ever were to sell let him know.

Don casually mentioned two weeks ago to Javi about our plans and gave him his mobile number.
The upshot was last Friday at noon the couple came to the house and by 1pm declared it was their dream house and wanted to buy it.

They want to be in by mid September for the start of the new school year.

They have ten year old twin boys. Exactly the age our twin boys were when we bought the house. :o

They said they could feel the house was very loved (they got that spot on!) and know they'll be very happy here.

Solicitors are on the case and the ball is rolling.

I'm glad it's happened like this as we (well, me really  ) have been dithering for ages and now it feels the exact right time for the next phase of our life.

At least you know the house you've loved for so many years will continue to be loved.

Happy de-cluttering :Hi: :Hi:

And good luck in finding another lovely home xx

How exciting Al! Are you thinking of staying in the same area?

I’m the ditherer here too, John would have our house on the market now but I’m resisting a bit. I think for us there’s been so much change and upheaval this last year that I just feel I need a period of calm and the thought of going through a house sale here doesn’t fill me with joy, but I do want to move.

Totally agree. xx

We're looking to move to the east side of Malaga Jo and near the coast.

We see so much of the twins so it's vital we find somewhere roughly, give or take a few kms, to keep within the distance we have now to continue to be able to see them loads.

I also want to be within an hour of the airport to enable easily my jaunts to the UK. :cute:
