LOL Kaz

Al, I totally understand that. Being realistic our house is too big for us. We’re using three rooms as bedrooms, Tom’s old bedroom is now my craft room, there’s a home office, two living rooms, a kitchen which we can also fit a large dining table into. Still be hard to leave it though.

I thought I was attached to our old house but I didnt find it difficult to move from there.
This has by far been a happier - an easier - home. Our last house started as a total renovation project which went on for a few years and wasn’t fun at all, then there were babies to look after as well as jobs still to be done on the house. Didn’t know whether we were coming or going half the time.

We came here when the boys were that bit older and easier, we’d moved from a town centre road where no one really talked to a quiet cul de sac where everyone gets on well and socialises.

Aw (((((Al))))) You've a lot of memories there, so it's bound to be a mixed bag of emotions xx

Jo, I get that. We've got empty bedrooms now, but it's by far the nicest house we've had xx

The for sale board has just gone up :?

We went to look at a show home on Tom’s estate yesterday. Very nice indeed, much bigger than we expected and with a huge kitchen with lots of cupboard space. John’s only reservation is the driveway, in that it’s not completely private but then I think we’d be hard pushed to find any house where you haven’t got next door’s drive right next to your own, most of the ones we see on Rightmove are the same too.

Not that we can do anything at the moment anyway until we sell this but at least we now have a list of what’s coming available on that site in the next 6-8 months.

Oh that IS nice :D :D

I agree with you about the drive, you’d be lucky to get one that isn’t adjacent.

Yeah, it’s a bit questionable isn’t it Jan, this isn’t the actual house we looked around but the one on the site was just as bad.

Our friend Marcos does the decor and staging in show homes so must ask if he’s responsible for this one

I’m getting frustrated already with the estate agent. The photos were done a week ago and I was told that the details and photos would be emailed to us at the start of this week for our approval.
By yesterday afternoon (Wed) I’d received nothing so emailed and was told they’d get them to us by today. Still nothing so I’ve just phoned and they’re being checked through now and will be sent asap.

In the meantime a friend who lives in Lichfield is using a different estate agent and had her house photos taken on the same day as us, the house has gone Rightmove and she’s accepted an offer today.

Change the agent Jo.

That's really slow.
