Quick Candy Update

Candy was at the vet today. The vet was surprised to see her- I think they half expected her to be over rainbow bridge by now.
She has lost 50g in weight but this was expected and actually far less than she has been losing in the same time frame.
On palpitating her tummy they found another lump but she didnt flinch at all and the vet is certain it isnt causing her pain.
I have noticed the last day or so that she isnt eating as much...she seems to have problems lifting the food into her mouth but they checked her mouth today and said it was probably the healthiest part of her.
The vet said that there was perhaps a neurolgical reason but as I'm quite happy to hand feed her then just to carry on.
I again asked the vet if Candy was in pain and would it be kinder to put her to sleep but they have assured me she is happy in herself and pain free. She's half the weight she was last year(though she was very fat then) and I was unsure whether, with seeing her daily, I was missing any signs that she was unhappy/in pain but the vet seems happy to let her be.
She's just eaten some chicken breast and is now lying sleeping wrapped up in her blanket in front of the radiator.
I'm just happy that she is still with us
