Poor Millie is suffering tonight

Millie has been in for another dilation today and for the first time ever is really suffering after it.
Dan was really pleased as they managed to dilate to 14mm but her throat obviously really hurts. Usually she is waggy tailed and eating as soon as she comes round but today she is really subdued and when she has even a tiny bit of food she stands in this really weird position and you can tell it is really painful. The nurse said for me to try her on a small amount at 6 but if it looked painful not to give her any more tonight.
She is obviously hungry and can't settle. I am hoping it will have eased by tomorrow and she can eat. I have to bring them in the morning to let them know how she is and if she is still in pain I am to nip her up for pain relief.
On the plus side, Dan doesn't want to operate again for at least two weeks, if at all. We have to keep to tiny meals as she still runs the risk of metamorphosis, which would be very bad news.
Fingers crossed she is back to her bouncy self quickly.
