Thank you x

Well I've been to the health shop and got a tub of spirulina powder, so she will be having 1/4 teaspoon of that on her food from tonight.
I rang the vet first as I didn't want to do anything wrong, but don't think she knew what I was talking about, I think she though I meant a protein powder :? Anyway, she said it was up to me.
Also went to the pet shop and got a couple of these to try:

As said before the ID is blinking expensive, and she doesn't need it, it was just to get her eating. My own instinct is that it must be important for her to have the best possible food; this is hypoallergenic, all natural, as is her normal dry food. So we're going to give her some of this with some of her dry.

On a brighter note, she's definitely a bit better than she was over the weekend :)

Follow your instincts Di, you know Minnie and her likes and dislikes. I hope the blood tests aren't as worrying as feared xxxx

Hopefully the spirulina helps somewhat Di.

also, have a look here http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs/wet_dog_food to see if there are more food options for you to try for Minnie

Oh thank you all :)

Meriad I don't really want to try anything else, certainly not yet. The stuff I got is made by the same co. that makes her normal food so it should be ok with her stomach. Will be opening a pack tomorrow.
I cooked a pack of chicken livers and she had a little of that on her dinner too, along with the scarily dark green spirulina powder.

What I reckon is that the drugs take a while to work, and she's improving. But will wait for the vet to call with the test results. I think she needs to continue with the drugs as they were, but a day or so won't make much difference.
